Giving back to the community
Every year we provide pro bono services to illegible participants to help strengthen our communities to improve lives. Below is a list of activities we carry out in the community.
1. Senior Wellness Programs
Description: Initiatives aimed at promoting healthy aging and providing education on disease prevention, nutrition, and mental well-being for seniors.
Activities:
- Hosting free wellness checks for seniors
- Educational workshops on chronic disease management
- Free or subsidized physical fitness classes (yoga, walking groups, etc.)
- Nutrition seminars for healthy eating on a budget
2. Caregiver Support & Training
Description: Providing resources, education, and support for family members and community caregivers who look after loved ones.
Activities:
- Workshops on safe caregiving techniques (e.g., transferring patients, wound care)
- Mental health support groups for caregivers
- Offering free respite care services to give caregivers a break
- Online resources and webinars for caregiving tips
3. Chronic Illness Management
Description: Community outreach programs focused on helping individuals manage chronic illnesses like diabetes, heart disease, or COPD.
Activities:
- Free diabetes and hypertension screenings
- Disease-specific education and self-care workshops
- Home visits for chronic disease education and follow-ups
- Collaboration with local clinics to provide comprehensive care plans
4. Community Health Screenings

5. Home Safety Assessments for Seniors
Description: Free or subsidized home safety assessments to help seniors live independently and safely at home.

- Assessments for fall risks (loose rugs, poor lighting, etc.)
- Recommendations on safety aids like grab bars and non-slip mats
- Providing referrals to services that install safety equipment
- Educating families on home modifications for aging in place
6. Mental Health & Wellness Initiatives
Description: Programs aimed at improving mental health and wellness, especially among isolated seniors and caregivers.

7. Youth Health Awareness and Education
